Accessibility Statement

This statement was last updated on October 18, 2026.

WordFolksRUs.com is committed to making our website usable for everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe every reader should be welcome here.

What web accessibility is

An accessible site allows visitors with disabilities to browse the site with the same or a similar level of ease and enjoyment as other visitors. This can be achieved with the capabilities of the system on which the site is operating, and through assistive technologies.

Our goal

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, and we work toward this goal on an ongoing basis.

What we do

  • Use clear headings and a logical page structure.

  • Provide text descriptions (alt text) for meaningful images.

  • Maintain sufficient color contrast and readable text sizes.

  • Make the site navigable by keyboard.

  • Label form fields, including our ARC sign-up and email forms, clearly.

  • Test with common assistive technologies where possible.

Known limitations

Some older pages, embedded third-party content (such as videos, social feeds, and sign-up widgets), or downloadable files may not be fully accessible yet. We are working to improve them.

Alternate formats

If you need ARC materials, downloads, or site content in another format, or if you have trouble using any part of the site, please contact us at authors@wordfolksrus.com. Please tell us the page or file and the problem you ran into. We will do our best to respond within 5 business days and provide the information in a format that works for you.

Feedback

Your feedback helps us improve. If you notice an accessibility barrier, we want to hear about it and will take it seriously.
